Privacy Policy

ShareFam is built around your family's privacy. This page explains, in plain language, how we handle your data.

Scaffold notice. This is placeholder policy text for the ShareFam scaffold. The final, legally reviewed Privacy Policy will replace it before public launch.

1. Information we collect

We collect the information you provide when you create a family space, invite members and use ShareFam — such as your name, email address, and the content you choose to share within your family.

2. How we use your information

Your information is used to operate ShareFam: to run your family hub, deliver connected apps such as the AI Tutor, keep your account secure, and provide support when you need it.

3. Family content is private by default

Content shared inside a family space is visible only to members of that family, according to the roles and permissions you set. We do not sell your family's personal data.

4. Children's privacy

ShareFam provides age-appropriate spaces for children that are managed by a parent or guardian. Children's areas are designed with additional safeguards and reduced data collection.

5. Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit and strict access controls — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we continually improve our protections.

6. Your choices and rights

You can review and update your information, manage who has access to your family space, and request deletion of your account. Contact us to exercise any privacy right available to you.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as ShareFam evolves. Significant changes will be communicated through the platform.
